Living in the woods of the East, it’s easy to get lost in the density of trees, the enveloping nature of the landscape and the pace of the culture here. I have grown to love and thrive on all these facets of life on the East Coast – but have found relief and perspective in the stark quality of the landscape and the more relaxed pace of life in Taos, New Mexico. As a painter, the clarity of the light is magic and the scales of the landscape and give me needed perspective and humility. Besides, it’s beautiful, soulful and a great place to spend time alone or with family.
