Nature Immersion offerings – these offerings are both public and private – contact Todd for details
Connecting with nature has the benefits of reducing anxiety, easing stress and rekindling a sense of wonder. A Forest Bathing experience consists of a leisurely walk of about a mile with stops along the way where we will gather and sit from time to time. We will focus on our senses to develop an immediate connection with the landscape. This is a very relaxed, slow, and mindful way of walking. Walks typically last about 2-3 hours and finish with an herbal tea from Todd’s garden.
FOREST BATHING WALKS
FOREST BATHING & ART: ONE DAY IMMERSION
Join Forest Bathing guide and ecological artist Todd Lynch for a refreshing day of discovery, awakening and art making and leave with ways you can integrate these practices into your own rhythms.
Forest Bathing combined with ecological art making can offer us ways to explore our relationships across many levels. These practices root us in the sensuality of what is real, contextual, and present now. Within both practices, there are no prescribed outcomes, only experiences. Forest Bathing and art practiced together offer participants a chance to deepen their connection to “Nature” – which can be healing and restorative to both them and their communities. Slowing down, listening, observing, and witnessing intentional relationships are critical parts of both forest bathing and art making.
In your time together, Todd will provide a methodology for creating and siting ecological artwork. A Forest Bathing session, in the morning, will help to provide the framework for you to explore ways to apply this methodology to your own process. After lunch, you will have time to create your own ecological art pieces, with guidance from Todd and inspiration from the morning’s Forest Bathing. Come experience this unique offering that will engage your senses and the magic of place.

what is forest bathing?
Our time together Forest Bathing is an opportunity to slow down and allow our bodies to engage all of our senses. A typical program is structured through “invitations.” These prompts are the gateways through which we can use our senses to explore the sensations we’re immersed in from moment to moment. There are no prescribed outcomes expected from these experiences. Simply being immersed in nature on a guided program for several hours is benefit enough.
Forest Bathing offers us the opportunity to slow down. It re-aligns our rhythms with the landscape, allowing our senses a respite from everyday demands and uncertainties. It’s a chance to remember ourselves and the joyful relationships that await us outside.
